Womble Bond Dickinson Partner David Jackson has been selected as an honoree in Emory University’s 2025 Class of 40 Under Forty.

Jackson’s clients rely on him for domestic and global brand protection strategies, as well as related intellectual property matters involving social media and emerging technologies. He works with clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies at every stage of branding — from trademark clearance and registration to protection and monetization.

Jackson manages a portfolio of thousands of trademark filings worldwide and has been recognized by the World Trademark Review WTR 1000 as a leading trademark professional.

Beyond his legal practice, he serves on the board of directors and co-chairs the governance committee for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona, where he was named Big Brother of the Year in 2019 for his dedication to mentorship.

Emory University’s 40 Under Forty program celebrates a select group of remarkable alumni who are leading change in innovative ways. This year, members of this notable group include a ministry leader spreading hope through music, a healthcare provider delivering comprehensive care to underserved communities, a speech pathologist improving the lives of children with congenital heart disease, and an international human rights lawyer advocating for justice across borders.
