Since its founding in 1948, legendary aircraft such as the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II, the Concorde, and the Vickers VC10 debuted at Farnborough. The airshow also includes a public spectator event that draws tens of thousands of people. Farnborough, located in South East England, is a hub for the aviation and defense industries.
