IRVINE, Cali. (May 21, 2025) – Womble Bond Dickinson announced today that Kiley McCarthy-Connolly Scholtz has joined the firm’s Business Litigation Practice Group in Irvine. Scholtz focuses her practice on labor and employment law, civil litigation, and strategic risk management for businesses. With extensive experience in both state and federal courts, she represents employers and companies in a variety of matters, including claims related to discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, whistleblower actions, workplace violence, and complex wage and hour disputes.

Beyond her litigation work, Scholtz provides proactive counsel to organizations, helping them develop and implement policies, procedures, and training programs that reduce legal risks and ensure compliance with workplace regulations. Her experience in advising clients on Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) compliance, leave management, and employee relations allows businesses to proactively address potential legal challenges before they arise.

An active member of the legal community, Scholtz is a member of the San Diego Defense Lawyers Association. She earned her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law and her B.S. from Bentley University.
