HOUSTON—Womble Bond Dickinson celebrated the firm’s arrival in Houston with a Grand Opening reception, which took place on Tuesday evening, May 14 at Treehouse at The Grove in the heart of Downtown Houston’s beautiful Discovery Green Park.
More than 100 of the firm’s leadership, US and UK partners, clients and friends attended the Grand Opening. Confirmed attendees represented over 80 Houston companies.
Womble Bond Dickinson opened its Houston office in January. The new office is located at 811 Main Street, a modern 46-story office tower. Womble Bond Dickinson’s Houston attorneys provide a full range of services, including corporate, intellectual property and litigation, to companies in the global energy, advanced manufacturing, technology and life sciences sectors.
“We have wanted to come to Houston for quite some time, but we wanted to make sure we had the right team in place. Womble Bond Dickinson’s team includes 25 attorneys with Ph.D./Doctorate degrees, mostly in the STEM fields, as well as more than 140 lawyers with STEM-related Master’s degrees. In addition, the Houston metro area is the fourth-fastest growing metropolitan area in the US—and its demographics are diverse and young.
