Congratulations to Womble Bond Dickinson client Yanfeng! The global automotive supplier recently announced plans to expand its Fountain Inn, S.C. facility. The expansion will create approximately 58 new jobs over the next five years and represents an investment of $49.5 million.

A Womble Bond Dickinson team led by Partner Stephanie Yarbrough and including attorneys Brandy Harris and Caroline Frey counseled Yanfeng on economic development issues related to the expansion. These included securing job development credits from the Coordinating Council for Economic Development as well as a Rural Infrastructure Fund grant to help with building infrastructure costs.

In a statement, Yanfeng North America Vice President and General Manager Tony Elenbaas said, “Yanfeng is pleased to make this additional investment and further grow our Fountain Inn operations. This location is a key part of our North American business. We appreciate the support from the state of South Carolina.”
