The Bio+Tech17 Conference will bring together more than 500 life science and tech industry professionals—including Womble Carlyle attorneys Tom Cawley and Julie Meigs.

Thomas Cawley, Jr, PhD and Julie Meigs, PhD concentrate their legal practices on biotechnology patent prosecution, opinion work, and client counseling. Their work includes the design and implementation of global intellectual property strategies, such as life cycle management for pharmaceuticals and agricultural biotechnology. Cawley and Meigs have years of experience serving a wide range of biotech clients, from universities to large pharmaceutical companies, and work to control costs and improve efficiencies in patent prosecution work.
