Womble Bond Dickinson Hosts “What to Expect from the 119th Congress” event in D.C.

“Change” is the watchword in Washington, D.C., with the balance of power shifting in Congress and a new administration taking the reins in January 2025. On Dec. 9, Womble Bond Dickinson’s Washington, D.C. office hosted an event titled “What to Expect from the 119th Congress.” Forbes Tate Partners co-presented the event.

The evening featured a bipartisan conversation with top Congressional staffers, as well as esteemed experts in government affairs and Congressional investigations to learn about what to expect out of the 119th Congress. Topics addressed included Congressional investigations, DOGE, opportunities for bipartisan cooperation, and the reemergence of interest in antitrust policy.
