The Daily Journal has named Womble Bond Dickinson Partners Steve Levitan and Fabio Marino as 2024 Top Trade Secrets Lawyers in California.

This is the fifth consecutive year that Levitan has been honored as a Top Trade Secrets Lawyer by the Daily Journal and the fourth time that Marino has been recognized on the annual list in the last few years.

Levitan has more than 30 years of experience litigating intellectual property and complex technology cases in courtrooms across the U.S. He focuses his practice on trade secret, patent, trademark, and technology contract disputes. Levitan also guides internal corporate investigations and acts as a go-to counselor for his clients on corporate policies and best practices for protection of trade secrets and confidential information. In addition, he is a frequent speaker and author on trade secret-related topics. He practices in Womble Bond Dickinson’s San Francisco and Silicon Valley offices.

Marino is an experienced intellectual property trial lawyer that focuses his practice on high-stakes patent, trade secrets, and copyright cases across the United States, with an emphasis on computer-related technologies and arguing appeals at the Federal Circuit. He has experience in a variety of technologies including, computer networks, telecommunications, software engineering, e-commerce, internet-related technologies, computer architecture, digital circuit design, flash memory, DRAMs, parallel computing, 3-D graphics and animation, medical imaging, and artificial intelligence. He has taught intellectual property litigation courses at Santa Clara University and Berkeley and is a frequent speaker on a variety of intellectual property topics.
