Womble Bond Dickinson’s Michael Clark, Luke Cass and Joe Whitley are slated to participate in the ABA’s award-winning False Claims Act Mock Trial Institute at the U.S. Court of Federal Claims in Washington, DC on January 17-19, 2024. The Institute features a two-day mock False Claims Act jury trial, in which experienced False Claims Act lawyers from the government, relators’ and defense bar will try a health care fraud case to a jury.
Clark, who is co-chair of the Institute’s Planning Committee and a founder of the event, will participate as part of the mock trial’s defense team. Whitley will participate as a faculty witness.
Cass will moderate a panel titled “Jury, Graphic, and Other Trial Consultants”. The panel will explore how trial consultants use cutting edge graphics and visuals to assist counsel in being more persuasive in Qui Tam matters as well as other types of cases.
