Womble Bond Dickinson Partner Joe Whitley will take part in the 4th Annual Government Investigations Seminar on February 6, 2024. This all-day CLE-eligible program is jointly sponsored by the Maryland and D.C. Chapters of the Federal Bar Association.

Whitley will a roundtable discussion with keynote speakers Ben Ginsberg and the Hon. Thomas Griffith. The panel will discuss their report “Lost, Not Stolen” on the 2020 election.

The Government Investigations Seminar also will feature a panel discussion on Crypto & Sanctions Enforcement, as well as a panel discussion on Public Corruption Cases in 2024.  To top off the program, a panel of current and former chief judges will offer their “View from the Bench”. Chief Judge James Bredar of the District of Maryland will be joined by Chief Judge James Boasberg, Judge Royce Lamberth, and Judge Beryl Howell.

Joe Whitley, former Acting Associate Attorney General, U.S. Attorney in the Northern (Atlanta) and Middle (Macon) Districts of Georgia, represents clients on a variety of white-collar matters, including corporate internal investigations, regulatory enforcement, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and export controls compliance, corporate compliance, health care fraud and FDA-related matters, in addition to matters related to securities fraud, criminal antitrust, financial institution fraud, public corruption and campaign finance, and commercial bribery.
