SILICON VALLEY – Womble Bond Dickinson Partner Dr. Chris Mammen spoke at the Future of Science & Technology and Legal Policy event hosted by the 4th Industrial Revolution Convergence Law Society, the Korea Institute of Intellectual Property, and The Kyungsung University Law Research Institute on February 24, 2022. He was the only American thought leader invited to speak at this Korean industry event. 

The virtual conference is intended to create a forum for international experts to discuss the direction of technology and legal policies in future society as well as establish the direction of technology and legal policies for Korea, with a focus on intellectual property rights. Mammen gave a presentation titled “Where Future Technology and Intellectual Property Legislation is Headed – Discussion on AI’s Inventor’s Status in the United States.” Mammen was joined by Professor Seong Bong-geun from Seokyung University and Dr. HUH, In from the Korea Institute of Intellectual Property for the discussion.

Mammen leads Womble Bond Dickinson’s US IP Litigation Team. He is recognized as a thought leader on IP issues and regularly speaks on the topic of artificial intelligence on the international stage.
