Womble Carlyle David McCormack spoke at a South Carolina Bar Employment Law Essentials Program on July 29th in Columbia.
In total, the program featured 10 speakers from both law firms and government agencies such as the S.C. department of Employment and Workforce and S.C. Department of Labor. McCormack’s presentation was titled, “Mediation, settlement agreements, and separation agreements (best drafting practices, tax issues, confidentiality, non-disparagement, disclaimers, etc.)”
David McCormack litigates employment-related matters, including wrongful termination claims, employment discrimination claims and claims involving non-competition/trade secret agreements. He also serves frequently as a mediator and arbitrator in both employment and commercial disputes. McCormack practices in Womble Carlyle’s Charleston, S.C. office.
