Womble Bond Dickinson associates Daniel Grigore and Kate Johnson both have been selected to participate in the inaugural International Trade Commission Trial Lawyers Association (ITCTLA) Mock Hearing Program.

The ITCTLA Mock Hearing Program gives participants the chance to prepare for and take part in a mock evidentiary hearing before the ITC’s Administrative Law Judges. The judges then will provide valuable feedback to the participating attorneys.

In order to be selected, attorneys must be recommended by their firm or organization and must have given three or fewer substantive oral arguments or witness examinations in any federal tribunal.

“Daniel and Kate will have the opportunity to prepare and present a witness before an actual ITC Administrative Law Judge. This will be great experience for them as they help clients resolve real-world disputes,” said Preston Heard, WBD’s Patent Prosecution & Litigation Practice Group Leader.  Chris Mammen, WBD’s IP Litigation team leader, agreed, adding, “Being able to provide experiences like this will further deepen the bench of our ITC practice.”

Johnson assists clients with patent, trademark and trade secret litigation, trademark portfolio management, licensing, global NDAs, start-ups, international trade, global compliance, drafting documents, and research. She practices in the firm’s Atlanta office.
