Keith Hinder represents clients in commercial real estate transactions, including the purchase, sale, financing, development, and leasing of all types of commercial properties.
In addition to his transactional experience as a commercial real estate practitioner, Keith is an experienced litigator. He has represented clients in matters involving real estate litigation, tax appeals, general commercial litigation, construction litigation, and insurance coverage matters in Maryland. This extensive litigation experience gives him a unique perspective, enabling him to develop legal strategies with his clients to avoid litigation whenever possible.
Before private practice, Keith served in several in-house positions, including Claims Litigation Counsel at GEICO Insurance Company. He started his legal career as a law clerk to former Judge Thomas E. Marshall of the Maryland Third Circuit Court in Harford County.

- Represented national homebuilder in land and lot acquisitions, and site development activities in Maryland
- Represent a national tenant in connection with leasing of industrial/warehouse property
- Represent non-profit insurance company in connection with permanent and construction loan financings for commercial projects in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia
- Served as local Maryland counsel for commercial bank in connection with $162 million loan refinancing secured by hotel property in Maryland
- Represented lender in the negotiation and closing of a $18.9 million construction loan credit facility for industrial warehouse complex in Baltimore City
- Represented private entity in $16.6 million disposition of a Class-A medical office building in Baltimore County
- Represented private entity in disposition of 80,000 square feet of warehouse and office space in Baltimore County
- Represented general partner in financing and formation of real estate investment limited partnership for acquisition and construction of multi-family property in Baltimore City
- Represented borrower, as legal opinion counsel, in financing relating to construction of certain capital improvements for major hotel chain in Denver, Colorado
