Keith Hinder represents clients in commercial real estate transactions, including the purchase, sale, financing, development, and leasing of all types of commercial properties.
In addition to his transactional expertise as a commercial real estate practitioner, Keith is an experienced litigator. He has represented clients in matters involving real estate litigation, tax appeals, general commercial litigation, construction litigation, and insurance coverage matters in Maryland. This extensive litigation experience gives him a unique perspective, enabling him to develop legal strategies with his clients to avoid litigation whenever possible.
Before private practice, Keith served in several in-house positions, including Claims Litigation Counsel at GEICO Insurance Company. He started his legal career as a law clerk to former Judge Thomas E. Marshall of the Maryland Third Circuit Court in Harford County.

- Represented private corporation in acquisition of 20,400 square foot Class A office building in Howard County, Maryland, and borrower/guarantor entities regarding financing for purchase
- Represented private entities in acquisition of 7,200 square foot medical office building in Plano, Texas, and borrower/guarantor entities regarding financing for acquisition
- Represented Maryland non-profit in disposition of 6.7-acre school campus in Baltimore County

- Represented general partner in financing and formation of real estate investment limited partnership for acquisition and construction of multi-family property in Baltimore City
- Represented investor in its equity investment in a portfolio of multifamily properties in Austin, Texas

- Represented lender in the negotiation and closing of a $18.9 million construction loan credit facility for industrial warehouse complex in Baltimore City
- Represented borrower, as legal opinion counsel, in financing relating to construction of certain capital improvements for major hotel chain in Denver, Colorado
- Represented borrower, as legal opinion counsel, in financing relating to construction of certain capital improvements for major hotel chain in Winston-Salem, North Carolina
- Represented lender, as local counsel, in working capital and construction financing for regional educational training company in Howard County, Maryland

- Represented a leading orthopedic practice for its Baltimore metropolitan area full-service and physical therapy operations, including the following transactions in Maryland:
- 17,200 square feet of new state-of-the-art medical office space located in Columbia, Maryland
- 31,060 square feet of Class A medical office space located at practice’s headquarters
- 14,600 square feet of medical office space located in Carroll County, Maryland
- 8,300 square feet for practice’s full-service operations in Maple Lawn, Maryland
- Represented an established regional mental health outpatient care practice, including the negotiation of an aggregate of over 12,000 square feet of Class A/B office space for company’s four (4) Baltimore-area locations
- Represented ownership in lease of 6,000 square feet of medical office space in Baltimore City to national nonprofit

- Represented automobile repair company in lease of 12,000 square feet of retail/industrial space in Eldersburg, Maryland
- Represented dog daycare and boarding company for its lease of 5,800 square feet located in Baltimore City
