Womble Bond Dickinson’s John Garziglia Comments on AM/FM Subcaps to Communications Daily

WASHINGTON, DC—The FCC’s 2018 quadrennial review will take place in December, and FCC officials are expected to discussion AM/FM subcaps, top-four duopoly rules and the definition of media market competition, according to Communications Daily.
However, the radio industry has not reached a consensus on the AM/FM subcap issue. Womble Bond Dickinson telecom attorney John Garziglia tells Communications Daily that the “lack of industry consensus doesn’t prevent the FCC from acting, but general industry accord can make the agency’s path clearer.”
