Womble Bond Dickinson attorney Michael Sullivan will lead a webinar for furniture industry professionals on the “Impact of the New Formaldehyde Deadline Part 2”. The webinar is presented by the American Home Furnishings Alliance and takes place April 11.

Beginning June 1, 2018, companies in the home furnishings industry will have to comply with new standards for formaldehyde emission limits, testing, and labeling. Sullivan’s presentation will review implications of the new compliance deadline on downstream users in the supply chain (fabricators and importers), including the impact of the adjusted timeline on the import declaration and how to take advantage of both the early labeling and the correlation final rules.
