Wilmington, DE— Womble Bond Dickinson attorneys Daniel Attaway and Mark Schamel attended the Delaware Bar Association LGBT Section’s 5th Annual reception held at the offices of Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor, LLP on Tuesday, October 22nd.
The Annual Reception honors advocacy for the advancement of equal rights for LGBT Delawareans. This year’s honoree was Sarah McBride, National Press Secretary for the Human Rights Campaign and the author of Tomorrow Will Be Different: Love, Loss, and the Fight for Trans Equality.

Daniel Attaway represents pharmaceutical and biotech patent holders in Abbreviated New Drug Application (“ANDA”) and related patent litigation. He also has represented clients in non-practicing entity (NPE) and trade secrets cases in both state and federal court in Delaware. In addition, Attaway serves as Delaware counsel for out of state clients before the US District Court for the District of Delaware.
Mark Schamel handles bet-the company investigations and white collar criminal defense litigation. He has represented individuals in some of the largest fraud cases in history, as well as a wide array of traditional criminal cases. Mark’s practice also involves all manner of enforcement matters, including representing clients before the Securities and Exchange Commission.
