Christopher is a corporate attorney that focuses a significant portion of his practice on representing lenders and borrowers in debt financing transactions. He has many years of experience advising high profile clients on a wide variety of leveraged loans, bank financings, syndicated institutional loans, asset backed loans and other financing transactions, including acquisition financings, leveraged buyouts, going-private transactions, recapitalizations and loan commitments. He has also advised on a number of high-yield bond offerings, investment grade debt and equity offerings, tender offers and consent solicitations. In addition, he has represented pro bono clients in connection with entity formation, contractual drafting and tax-related matters.

Prior to joining Womble, Christopher practiced at a prestigious international firm in New York where he represented leading investment banks, institutional investors, commercial banks and corporations in connection with public and private financing transactions.

  • Represented a financial institution in connection with the drafting and negotiation of numerous confidentiality and access agreements related to various domestic and cross-border public and private financing, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, leveraged financing, municipal bond and institutional investor transactions.

  • Represented many syndicated lenders in connection with several term and revolving credit facilities in the aggregate amount of over $12.5 billion across several leveraged financing deals.

  • Represented an insurance company in connection with a $750 million revolving credit and letters of credit financing by a commercial investment bank.
