He has in-depth experience advising philanthropists, employing sophisticated charitable transfers and with the formation and administration of public and private charitable entities. In addition to advising clients on tax-saving opportunities, King has successfully defended his clients in state and federal fiduciary income, gift, and estate tax audits, including before the IRS’s Large Business and International group.

An active member of the legal community, King is a fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), serving on its Fiduciary Tax Committee.
