Josh Stone focuses his practice on commercial real estate transactions. His experience spans a broad range of transactional matters, including real estate acquisitions and development, finance, commercial leasing, and general corporate law. Josh’s practice includes counseling borrowers and lenders in commercial lending transactions, negotiating and drafting purchase contracts, commercial leases, loan documentation, and related agreements, performing due diligence on commercial real estate transactions, including title and survey review, and closing commercial real estate transactions.
Josh began practicing law in his home state of West Virginia, where he worked extensively with clients in the oil and gas industry, performing due diligence on transactions involving mineral and real property assets and negotiating and drafting lease agreements. He also practiced as a solo practitioner, assisting clients with real estate closings, business formation, corporate governance matters, and contract and property disputes.
Prior to his career in law, Josh worked as a financial advisor at Wells Fargo Advisors in his hometown of Morgantown, West Virginia.
