About the Authors

Jonathan Reich is a litigator practicing primarily in the commercial litigation, tort defense, and insurance coverage and bad faith areas.  He also advises on insurance regulatory issues.  He is a member of the Board of Directors of the North Carolina Captive Insurance Association.  Reich practices in Womble Carlyle’s Winston-Salem office.

Cal Adams has tried more than thirty jury trials in state and federal courts. He also has tried numerous non-jury matters, including numerous declaratory judgment trials. His experience includes insurance coverage litigation, large-scale class action cases and managing diet drug product liability litigation. Adams also has experience in construction defect coverage and litigation, directors and officers’ liability coverage and litigation, commercial arbitration, complex claims against agents and brokers arising from insurance procurement practices, and EMTALA investigations. He practices in Womble Carlyle’s Winston-Salem, N.C., office.

Gemma Saluta defends manufacturers, sellers, distributors and other businesses in product liability litigation. She also has experience counseling health care providers regarding medical records privacy issues, cases involving incentive loans to recruit doctors and workers’ compensation matters.  Saluta practices in Womble Carlyle’s Winston-Salem office.
