WILMINGTON, DEL.—Womble Carlyle attorney Morgan Patterson will participate in the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges’ seventh annual NextGen program.

Each year, the NCBJ randomly selects 40 bankruptcy attorneys with 10 or fewer years of practice who have “demonstrated commitment to the highest standards of civility, ethics, and professionalism, as well as to the continued educational development of bankruptcy professionals and to professional activities that benefit the public, the bankruptcy bar, and the court system.”

NextGen participants will take part in educational and networking events, starting with the NCBJ’s Annual Meeting Oct. 8-11 in Las Vegas. The program includes the opportunity to work with more than 20 bankruptcy judges in small group sessions.

Morgan Patterson’s practice focuses on bankruptcy and Creditor’s rights in complex chapter 11 proceedings.  Patterson represents both debtors and a variety of secured and unsecured creditors. She is also experienced in representing liquidating trusts and official committees. She practices in Womble Carlyle’s Wilmington office.
