WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.—Once again, The Best Lawyers in America has recognized Womble Bond Dickinson attorney Ron Davis as one of the top attorneys in the Greensboro/Winston-Salem Market. Davis has been named Greensboro/Winston-Salem Lawyer of the Year for Banking and Finance Litigation in Best Lawyers’ 2020 edition.
This is the third year that Davis has been named a Lawyer of the Year, having previously been named the Greensboro/Winston-Salem market’s top attorney for Securities Litigation for 2016 and 2019. Only a single lawyer in each practice area and designated metropolitan area is honored as the Lawyer of the Year. Ron Davis has 30 years of experience as a business trial lawyer, concentrating his practice in North Carolina state and federal courts. He has represented billion-dollar public companies in the construction aggregate, financial services, broker/dealer, restaurant/hospitality, microprocessor and natural gas transmission sectors. He regularly prosecutes and defends lawsuits for middle market business clients, in a wide range of business sectors. In addition, Mr. Davis has defended other attorneys who have been sued and represented attorneys involved in law firm dissolutions.
