CHARLESTON, S.C.—Experienced healthcare attorney and registered nurse Alissa Fleming has joined Womble Bond Dickinson’s Charleston office.
Fleming guides healthcare providers in a range of compliance and operational issues, including facility and professional licensing, Certificate of Need, fraud, and abuse claims, Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, credentialing, HIPAA and health information technology matters. She guides hospitals and healthcare providers in negotiating and drafting contracts, management agreements, bylaws and other corporate documents, and she counsels healthcare sector employers in employment agreements and contracts.
In addition, Fleming has represented healthcare providers in employment and professional liability-related disputes in administrative, state and federal courts.
