TYSONS, VA.—A Womble Bond Dickinson team led by Alex Park and Dean Rutley successfully guided firm client Germane Systems through several complex issues to close its $45 million acquisition by publicly traded Mercury Systems.
Germane Systems designs and manufactures custom rugged computing solutions for mission-critical military, aerospace and industrial applications. Germane leverages commercial off the shelf components for customers who require special form factors, harsh environment mitigation, high performance and/or long life cycles.
Womble Bond Dickinson attorneys Park, Rutley, Raj Singh, and Siaw Ching Lee formed the core M&A team. Attorneys Patrick Allen, Todd Harris, Jim Kearney, Julia Kreyskop, Jeff Lawyer, John Pueschel, and Joshua Rodman also worked on this multi-disciplinary transaction, which included lawyers from the firm’s Employee Benefits, Government Contracts and Cross-Border Trade, Intellectual Property, Labor & Employment, Real Estate and Tax service teams.
