HOUSTON—Congratulations to SABIC and Jeffrey Whittle, Managing Partner of Womble Bond Dickinson’s new Houston office. The Association of Corporate Growth (ACG) recently named SABIC’s joint venture with ExxonMobil its Houston Deal of the Year. In fact, the SABIC/ExxonMobil deal was honored in two different categories—Industrial, Power & Infrastructure and Cross-Border Transaction.

Whittle, then a partner at Hogan Lovells, represented SABIC in this joint venture.

An independent panel of judges selected the winners of the 2018 ACG Awards. An awards ceremony took place at the River Oaks Country Club in Houston.

In January, Whittle joined Womble Bond Dickinson to lead the firm’s new Houston office .

Jeffrey Whittle provides over two decades of legal experience to clients in the energy and high tech industries. He advises on strategic and complex technology transactions, licensing, patent protection, portfolio analysis, and other contentious and transactional intellectual property matters including inter partes reexaminations, post-grant reviews, and derivation proceedings, among other disputed cases. Whittle leads Womble Bond Dickinson’s International IP Energy Group and serves as Managing Partner of the firm’s Houston office.
