Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) identified the “individuals who are leading the way in the development and implementation of strategies that maximize the value of IP portfolios.”

IAM researchers in the United States, Europe and Asia spoke to a wide range of senior corporate IP managers, as well as third-party IP service providers, in order to identify IP leaders “who offer top-tier services relating to the development and implementation of strategies which enable IP owners to maximize the value of their portfolio….Using a strict selection procedure and rigorous research process, only those individuals who possess exceptional skillsets — as well as having profound insights into the development, creation and management of IP value —are featured in the IAM Strategy 300.”

Only those individuals nominated multiple times by different parties as outstanding IP strategists are listed in the IAM Strategy 300. The 2021 edition includes professionals in areas such as brokering, defensive patent aggregation, finance, insurance, management consultancy, the law, licensing, mergers and acquisitions, tax and valuation.
