GREENSBORO—Womble Bond Dickinson attorney Cory Schug has been selected as a member of the 2022 Class of Leadership Greensboro.

Each year, Leadership Greensboro selects a group of established leaders from the Greensboro community for the annual class. Participants engage in a three-part, nine-month leadership development program, including retreats, community volunteer work and executive coaching sessions. The program year ends with participants pitching a project that helps to solve a community issue. These pitches have led to various high-profile initiatives including the Greensboro Children’s Museum and the Guilford Nonprofit Consortium.

Schug has worked as a patent attorney dealing with engineering and consumer electronics for over a decade. He has deep experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications in a wide range of technological fields including mechanical medical devices, spinal implants, firearms, etc. Schug advises clients on leveraging their intellectual property through licensing and litigation. He practices in Womble Bond Dickinson’s Greensboro office.
