Cory is an experienced patent attorney with more than a decade of practical experience in engineering and consumer electronics.  He utilizes his experience to effectively communicate with inventors, engineers, and executives to develop a strategy to protect and enforce the intellectual property of his clients.

Cory guides clients in a full range of patent prosecution needs, including advising on patentability, patent validity, freedom-to-operate, and due diligence issues. He also assists in managing the IP portfolios of clients to protect their assets and maximize the value of their IP in the market place.

Cory has experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications in a wide range of technological fields including mechanical and electromechanical medical devices, spinal implants, electrical substrate films, firearms, building products, lighting fixtures, computer software, and robotics. He works with patent examiners to procure patents in line with the commercial interests of his clients. Additionally, Cory advises his clients on leveraging their intellectual property through licensing and litigation.
