Sean Perrin Named an American College of Trial Lawyers Fellow

Womble Bond Dickinson Partner Sean Perrin has been inducted as a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers.
Membership in the ACTL is by invitation only and is extended to trial lawyers who exemplify the highest levels of trial advocacy, ethical conduct, integrity, professionalism, and collegiality. Founded in 1950, the ACTL comprises over 5,700 members across the United States and Canada. Membership criteria include a minimum of 15 years of trial experience, and the organization limits its fellows to no more than one percent of the total lawyer population in any given state or province.
Perrin is an experienced trial attorney, having tried more than 50 jury trials and 500 bench trials as lead counsel in both state and federal courts. Sean has also successfully argued appeals in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, North Carolina Supreme Court, and the North Carolina Court of Appeals. Prior to coming to Womble, he was an assistant district attorney for the Mecklenburg County District Attorney’s Office, where he prosecuted violent crimes.
In addition, Perrin has an active pro bono practice and was named Legal Aid of North Carolina’s Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year.
