Womble Bond Dickinson Partner Michael Sullivan will present on August 10 at the American Home Furnishings Alliance (AHFA) Regulatory Summit in Colfax, N.C.

So-called “forever chemicals” are the focus of regulatory activity in a host of states, and many are implementing reporting requirements followed by a ban. Sullivan’s presentation will provide an overview of PFAS compliance, as well as an update on current state regulations and enforcement.

The AHFA is the only trade association serving the U.S. residential furniture industry and is the premier authority on all health, safety, environmental, fashion and business information related to home furnishings. The mission of AHFA is to promote the growth and global leadership of its member companies by:

  • providing exceptional advocacy,

  • presenting relevant education, and
  • serving as the preeminent media resource on industry news and trends.
