Edward Schnitzer and Lisa Tancredi Ranked in Lawdragon 500 Leading Global Bankruptcy & Restructuring Lawyers

Womble Bond Dickinson congratulates Partners Edward Schnitzer and Lisa Tancredi on being named to the Lawdragon 500 Leading Global Bankruptcy & Restructuring Lawyers for 2024.

Schnitzer guides clients in bankruptcy and reorganization matters. He has experience representing unsecured creditor committees, litigation and liquidation trustees, debtors, banks, equity committees, and creditors in all aspects of bankruptcy practice, with a particular focus on bankruptcy litigation, including the prosecution and defense of preferences, fraudulent transfers, and other avoidance actions, claims objections, and collection and turnover actions. He practices in Womble’s New York office and appears in bankruptcy cases throughout the country.  Most recently, Schnitzer has been representing the unsecured creditor committee in the Nashville Senior Care bankruptcy. 

This is Tancredi’s fifth year of being honored by Lawdragon 500. Tancredi counsels clients with an emphasis on achieving their business goals, managing risk and maximizing returns in financially distressed situations.  She represents a wide range of clients, including sureties, financial institutions, funds, insurers, receivers, committees, debtors, lease and contract counterparties, purchasers, and high-net-worth individuals, both inside and outside of bankruptcy court. Author of numerous publications and frequent presenter to national and regional industry groups, she practices in the firm’s Baltimore and Wilmington, Del. offices.
