Baltimore Office participates in Downtown Partnership of Baltimore’s 2019 Annual Meeting

Baltimore, MD — The Baltimore Office was well represented at the Downtown Partnership of Baltimore’s 2019 Annual Meeting. Baltimore OMP Barry Herman, Newt Fowler, Marina Andrews, Nick Hawkins and Christé Spiers participated in the event held on Sept. 12 at Cross Street Market in Baltimore. This year focused on celebrating another year of accomplishments and honoring Dr. Jay Perman for his six years of dedicated service as Board Chair to the Downtown Partnership.

Barry Herman is a Chambers-ranked IP litigator who tries cases in district courts throughout the country, at the USPTO, and at the ITC. A chemical engineer by training, Herman litigates patent disputes in the chemical, mechanical and electrical arts, and has significant experience with trademark and antitrust litigation. Outside of the courtroom, he assists clients with due diligence, opinions and strategic procurement of new technologies. He is Managing Partner of Womble Bond Dickinson’s Baltimore office.

Newton Fowler advises the firm’s clients on structuring and executing mergers and acquisitions, private equity & venture capital financing, and technology transactions. He has extensive experience representing technology companies and other growth companies as well as private equity and venture capital firms.

Marina Andrews is a versatile “planes, trains and automobiles” attorney who keeps the country – and the world – moving.
