In making decisions about ESG practices, companies’ supply chains become a critical component because who a company does business with greatly impacts its own ESG practices. In addition, legal constraints (conflict minerals, child labor) impact supply chains. Our speakers will discuss how supply chains can better reflect and implement ESG practices, and how new indices and metrics can make it easier for investors and others to assess ESG practices. We will also discuss how ESG practices are reflected in supply chain agreements and legal issues surrounding those.
