Rhonda is an experienced litigator with a strong focus on financial services litigation.  Over the course of her 27-year career, she has handled numerous class actions and mass actions involving key financial regulations, including TCPA, FCRA, FDCPA, SCRA and TILA. Rhonda’s practice also includes matters related to loan modifications, retail installment sales contracts, automobile repossessions, and home mortgage litigation.

Before joining Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP, Rhonda served as Senior Counsel and Vice President for one of the nation’s top four banks where she managed consumer financial litigation.  This in-house experience provides Rhonda with a deep understanding of regulatory challenges, risk management, and the evolving landscape of financial services law, allowing her to offer strategic and business minded legal solutions.

Rhonda received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and her BA in Psychology from Carnegie Mellon University.

  • Settled a Washington State property preservation class action.
  • Settled two major RESPA class action cases for much less than anticipated.
  • Litigated nationwide county recorder cases challenging MERS business model resulting in a favorable decision from Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
  • Resolved a class action that alleged unauthorized fees were billed on an individual basis.
  • Negotiated resolution of Chapter 13 trustee disputes relating to payment change notices and Notice of Post-Petition Fees.
