Jorge’s practice concentrates on patent preparation and prosecution, as well as trademark and brand protection. His specific focus areas involve oil and gas, the chemical industry, communications technologies, software and IT, and electronics and semiconductor technologies. He is particularly interested in the rapid advancement of computer-based innovations, especially in fields like process controls and new mechanical inventions.
Previously, as a chemical engineer, Jorge gained experience in designing chemical processes, equipment sizing, identifying infrastructure bottlenecks, and overseeing product storage solutions for both offshore and onshore oil production and chemical plants.
