Nicholas (Nick) is a brand strategist and skilled intellectual property professional with roots in trademark law. Beginning his career as an in-house trademarks attorney for a major sports apparel company, Nick is a versatile IP problem solver who excels at creating effective domestic and international brand management and enforcement strategies for clients.  Nick's in-house background gives him a distinctive perspective as outside counsel, enabling him to develop innovative solutions that balance business opportunities with the associated risks.

Nick counsels in-house legal departments, product management teams, and marketing professionals on brand protection and product design considerations. He offers adept guidance on IP licensing agreements, creative-asset risk management, compliance systems implementation, IP aspects of M&A transactions (both buy-side and sell-side), and general corporate matters.

Nick maintains active leadership roles as Chair of the International Trademark Association's (INTA) Sports, Actors, and Celebrities Sub-Committee of the Right of Publicity Committee, Treasurer on the Board of Directors for Mid Atlantic Arts, and as an inaugural Advisory Board member for the Simon Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Loyola University Maryland.
