On Tuesday, November 3, several attorneys from Womble Bond Dickinson’s Nashville office attended the Lawyers' Association for Women's 49th Annual New Admittees' Breakfast at Nissan Stadium to celebrate Tennessee's newest lawyers. Womble was proud to sponsor this year's event.

This cherished Nashville tradition draws more than 300 guests each year, including Tennessee Supreme Court Justices, judges, bar leaders, and elected officials, and takes place just before the new admittees are sworn in. Retired U.S. Magistrate Judge Barbara D. Holmes of the Middle District of Tennessee delivered the keynote. Nashville Mayor Freddie O'Connell spoke about being a lawyer who does good in the community, and DarKenya Waller, Executive Director of the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands, reminded everyone of the importance of pro bono service.

Representing the firm were Liz Tipping, Mariam Stockton, Jeffrey Zager, Callie Hinson, and Samantha McCaleb. They were delighted to be joined by Judge Stephanie J. Williams of the Fourth Circuit Court for Davidson County.
