Tyler Bridegan, Abi Prabakar & Genevieve Walser-Jolly to Present at ABA Business Law Section Fall Meeting

Womble Bond Dickinson attorneys Tyler Bridegan, Abi Prabakar, and Genevieve Walser-Jolly will be featured speakers at the American Bar Association Business Law Section Fall Meeting taking place September 1-4 in Chicago.

Bridegan will take part in a panel discussion on, “2026 is the Year of Regulating Children's Data: A Discussion with Lawmakers and Regulators.” In the last year, states have rushed to enact a bewildering array of often-incompatible child data protection laws. How did we get here—and more importantly—what can companies do about complying?

Prabakar will speak on “Truth in Lending Act Developments: Examining Litigation and Enforcement Trends as the CFPB Shifts Its Focus.” This panel will examine the landscape of risks around TILA compliance in the light of changing regulatory enforcement and litigation risks.

Walser-Jolly will join a panel discussion titled “Geolocation and Geofencing: Privacy, Consumer Protection, and Emerging Legal Risks,” which will explore the growing use of location-based technologies by businesses and the legal challenges that accompany them. As companies increasingly rely on geolocation and geofencing tools for marketing, fraud prevention, risk management, and customized services, regulators and plaintiffs' attorneys are paying closer attention to how location data is collected, shared, and used.
