Andy Jackson is a former Department of Justice trial attorney with extensive experience defending clients in government contracts litigation, False Claims Act matters, and related regulatory investigations. He has represented companies in complex government contract fraud investigations involving false statements, false claims, Medicare/Medicaid fraud, defective pricing, and procurement integrity violations. He also has substantial experience handling matters arising under the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) and federal supply schedule contracts.
Andy has led litigation teams in federal and state courts nationwide and represented Fortune 500 clients across software, technology, pharmaceutical, professional services, weapons systems, and shipbuilding industries. He also represents contractors in affirmative claims against federal and state governments and has handled numerous bid protests before the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, the Government Accountability Office, and boards of contract appeals.
Prior to his DOJ role, Andy served as a trial attorney in the U.S. Army Procurement Fraud Division and as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia. He began his career as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps, serving on active duty and in the reserves. Andy frequently speaks and writes on government contracts and False Claims Act litigation.
