Congratulations to NCR Corporation! NCR, the global leader in consumer transaction technologies, has completed the acquisition of CimpleBox, Inc. CimpleBox provides back-office software for the restaurant industry, helping restaurants achieve greater operational efficiency.

A multi-office, multi disciplinary Womble Carlyle team led by Scott Bowers, Todd Harris and Sarah Parker represented NCR in the successful acquisition.

Earlier this year, NCR announced that it had entered into an agreement to sell its global Interactive Printer Solutions (IPS) division to Atlas Holdings LLC. Womble Carlyle, led by Sharon Johnson, is representing NCR in this transaction.  In 2014, Johnson’s team guided NCR in its $1.65 billion acquisition of Digital Insight, one of Georgia’s biggest M&A deals that year.

NCR Corporation is the global leader in consumer transaction technologies, turning everyday interactions with businesses into exceptional experiences. With its software, hardware, and portfolio of services, NCR enables more than 550 million transactions daily across retail, financial, travel, hospitality, telecom and technology, and small business.
