CHARLESTON, SC—Veteran construction and business litigation attorney Cordes Ford is the new leader of Womble Bond Dickinson’s US-based Projects, Construction and Infrastructure Team.

The Projects, Construction and Infrastructure Team guides companies from a wide range of industries in all aspects of capital projects, from inception to completion. The transatlantic team’s services include resolving construction and engineering disputes, defending construction companies and building products manufacturers in mass torts litigation, guiding property owners, developers and contractors through complex real estate transactions, and counseling construction industry clients in regulatory compliance matters.

The team includes more than 50 attorneys in the US and UK. Simon Rowland leads Womble Bond Dickinson’s UK-based Projects, Construction and Infrastructure operations.

Ford has more than 15 years representing project owners, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, architects, sureties, insurers and product manufacturers in a wide array of litigated matters in both state and federal courts and in arbitration. His construction litigation experience includes disputes in which millions of dollars are at stake. Ford practices in the firm’s Charleston office.
