On July 15, Womble Bond Dickinson Partner Veronica Renzi moderated a British-American Business Association panel titled “Crypto: Where Do We Go From Here? Part II”. The event took place July 15 in Washington, D.C.

The panel discussed cryptocurrencies and the regulatory landscape, including up-to-the-minute news on the legislation currently pending in Congress.

In addition to Renzi, the panel included Robinhood Markets Manager of Government Affairs Conor Carney; Jaliya Nagahwatte, policy advisor to U.S. Rep. Young Kim; HSBC North America SVP Federal Government Relations and Head of U.S. Financial Regulatory Policy Dan Taylor; and Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) Managing Director, International Policy and Advocacy Peter Matheson.

Veronica previously served in the Cyber Unit of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Washington, D.C. At Womble Bond Dickinson, she practices in the areas of Congressional investigations, white collar, and high-stakes litigation.
