The Triad Business Journal has named John Morrow, Managing Partner of Womble Bond Dickinson’s Winston-Salem and Greensboro offices, to its 2023 Power Players List.
The annual Power Players list recognizes 80 of the most influential people in North Carolina’s Triad (Greensboro/High Point/Winston-Salem) region. This year’s list includes numerous CEOs, university presidents, executive directors of the region’s top organizations, and other senior leaders.
The TBJ writes, “Morrow took over as managing partner of the Triad's largest law firm at the start of 2023 — Womble Bond has more than 100 attorneys and 425 employees in the region. He also continues to be a nationally recognized intellectual property lawyer. He was chair of the international firm’s practice group in that area from 2012 to 2021 and credits the experience with helping him prepare to lead the firm in the Triad. Morrow has worked at Womble Bond for more than 27 years, starting in the mailroom while home from college before being hired by the firm after graduating from the Wake Forest University School of Law in 1996.”
