Womble Bond Dickinson attorney Nick Hawkins has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors for the Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation.

Established in 1979, Mid Atlantic Arts is one of six regional non-profit arts organizations in the U.S. and works in close partnership with the region’s state arts councils and the National Endowment for the Arts to leverage public grants and private funding to support artist and organizations with programming, grant support, and partnerships.  The states and jurisdictions within Mid Atlantic Arts’ region include Maryland, Delaware, DC, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and the US Virgin Islands.  Nick has also been asked to serve on the organization’s Investment Committee to assist with ensuring the organization’s long-term growth.  

Nick continues to serve as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for Baltimore Clayworks, a ceramic arts organization in Baltimore, and his new role on the Board of Mid Atlantic Arts reflects his commitment to service and philanthropy and love for the arts.
