Womble Bond Dickinson was recently represented at the International Bar Association’s Latin American Conference in Miami, titled “Deals, disruptions and growth areas in the Americas Conference.” Houston Office Partner and Head of the Latin American Practice Team José Luis Vittor served as a co-moderator on a panel about climate change. In addition, WBD organized a breakfast for members of Lex Mundi firms attending the conference. Greensboro Office Partner Randy Hanson also represented the firm at the breakfast.
The IBA’s Latin America and North America Fora were able to host the first joint conference on legal developments in the Americas in almost a decade. Lead international lawyers that are active in the Americas had the chance to meet and network after an extended hiatus. The conference took place Dec. 6-8.
