Womble Bond Dickinson attorney Gerard Clodomir was a presenter at the first-ever annual conference of the North Carolina Association of  Community College Human Resources Professionals.  

Clodomir’s presentation was titled, “AI & HR Legal Update.” In the discussion, he addressed such topics as how employers and HR departments are using artificial intelligence, the regulatory landscape for use of AI in HR functions, state law trends, and case studies. He also provided compliance strategies that HR departments should consider before implementing AI programs, during its use, and to help ensure proper ongoing oversight.

The North Carolina Association of  Community College Human Resources Professionals Annual Conference took place October 9–10 at Carteret Community College in Morehead City, N.C.

Gerard Clodomir is an experienced litigator who primarily represents clients in matters concerning state and federal employment laws. He has successfully defended lawsuits in state and federal courts, as well as proceedings before administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Department of Labor. He practices in Womble Bond Dickinson’s Greensboro, N.C. office.
