Francisco Balduzzi Appointed Officer of the International Bar Association Mining Law Committee

Womble Bond Dickinson Partner Francisco Balduzzi was recently appointed as Officer of the International Bar Association’s (IBA) Mining Law Committee, effective January 1, 2023, through December 31, 2024. In such capacity he will act as the Newsletter Editor for this Committee. The IBA Mining Law Committee promotes the exchange of information and views as well as advancing knowledge of its’ members on laws, practices and procedures concerning activities connected to minerals and mining throughout the world.

The International Bar Association is the one of the largest professional organizations for international legal practitioners, bar associations, and legal societies. Balduzzi has more than 25 years’ experience including a strong cross-border M&A, transactional, and dispute practice within the Energy and Natural Resources (ENR) sector, focusing on the energy service (oil, gas, and power), metal, and mining industries.
