Womble Bond Dickinson announced today that Christopher W. Jones has been appointed to serve on its Global Board, the governing body that oversees the firm’s transatlantic activity.

Jones has led Womble’s Business Litigation Practice Group, the firm’s largest group, since 2017. His nationwide practice is focused on complex civil and regulatory litigation, including bet-the-company administrative and regulatory litigation, high-exposure financial services and commercial disputes, and a variety of finance, technology, and corporate governance disputes. He has served as lead counsel on behalf of businesses ranging in size from a few employees to some of the world’s largest companies.

Formed in 2017 by the combination that created Womble Bond Dickinson, the Global Board’s primary responsibilities include promoting collaboration between the firm’s transatlantic teams and ensuring seamless client service across the U.S. and U.K. Jones will serve alongside other U.S.-based members of the Global Board, including Mary W. Bourke, Christian E. Mammen, Elizabeth O. Temple, and Stephanie Yarbrough
