Ruth Levy is a partner in the firm’s Mass Tort and Business Litigation practice groups. She has extensive experience in complex multidistrict proceedings involving product liability, environmental toxic tort, antitrust, and other claims.
 
In the mass tort context, Ruth acts as lead national litigation counsel, representing clients in multidistrict litigation proceedings as well as coordinated state court actions. As national counsel, Ruth works closely with her clients to formulate and implement the end-game strategy, whether it involves resolving complex litigation through the court system or through innovative alternative dispute resolution programs, for which Ruth has significant experience designing and implementing. Ruth currently serves on the defense coordinating committee for the largest and most complex multidistrict litigation to be adjudicated in federal court, involving “forever chemicals.”
 
Ruth also maintains a robust administrative law practice and keeps her trial skills sharp by bringing and defending cases of all types in the North Carolina and South Carolina administrative law courts. 

Ruth began her practice as a litigator in the healthcare sector and continues to act as a counselor and strategic advisor for healthcare clients with various legal needs.
